I'm spending a year in Texas trying to figure out why community mental health looks so different here than it does at home.
I'm Rainer Mere, a psychologist and PhD researcher from Tallinn, Estonia, spending 2026–2027 at the University of Texas at Austin as a Fulbright Visiting Student Researcher. My work looks at how mental health programmes actually get implemented, not just designed, across Europe and now, for a year, in the US. This site collects the research and the letters that come out of that comparison.
